The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

  • Date of birth, gender and details relating to recruitment and employment

  • Financial data (if you are an employee, client or contractor) such as bank details, salary and benefits information

  • Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. The information that Wix.com collects may include internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website;

  • Profile data including your current job role, interests, preferences, job application data; feedback and survey responses;

  • Usage Data including information about how you use our website and services including through any surveys you may be asked to conduct; 

  • Marketing and Communications Data including your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

 

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may use Wix.com to assess the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You have requested to be signed up to one of our event or mailing lists

  • You have applied for a job

  • You have provided the information to a member of our team at an event (e.g. via a business card)

 

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

  • We use third party databases such as Roxhill to identify journalists and politicians who we believe have a legitimate interest in receiving communications from us. 

  • We may also receive personal information about you from public sources such as Wikipedia pages, newspaper articles etc. 

 

We use the information that you have given us in order to conduct a variety of activities including:

  • Sending email newsletters

  • Issuing event invitations

  • For the purposes of recruitment

  • Entering into and performing a contract with you

  • Pursuing our legitimate business interests in providing and marketing our products and services

 

We may share this information with selected third parties including:

  • Business partners, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you;

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

(d) We have a vital interest.

(e) We need it to perform a public task.

How we store your personal information 

 

Your information is securely stored. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so. We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, tax, reporting requirements or as is consented to by yourself.

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

 

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
